Dr. Akin Ogundiran was inducted as a Visiting Fellow of Magdalene College, University of Cambridge on May 17, 2018. This followed his election as a Yip fellow of the college last year, an honor that is bestowed annually on a distinguished American scholar. Established in 1428, Magdalene College is one of the oldest in the 31-collegiate system of the University of Cambridge. The induction ceremony was led by the Master of the College, Dr. Rowan Williams (middle), who is also the Baron of Oystermouth and former Archbishop of Canterbury. The ceremony was attended by more than thirty other fellows including the college president, Dr. M. E. J. Hughes.
